100K Classic Cycle Challenge and Fun Ride. 
22nd of November 2009 is the date for this years event.

The Te Awamutu Rotary Club and Te Awamutu Sports Cycling Club present The Maungatautari 100KM Classic Cycle Challenge and Fun Ride.

This year we are introducing electronic timing, giving accurate finish times and a challenge for participants to beat their own times year by year. Also new to the event this year is a team relay, involving 3 members per team.

As in previous years, a grant to the Maungatautari Ecological Trust for the maintenance of the island reserve will be made from the proceeds of this event. The reserve is becoming well known nationally and internationally and the publicity of this cycle race and the reserve will be of mutual advantage.
